Mat Beausoleil was born and raised in Sudbury Ontario, where he began singing in children’s choirs in primary school. He appeared on several television programs, including Canadian Idol and Canada’s Got Talent, and was invited to audition for America’s Got Talent in 2024 and 2025.

 

These days, Mat performs regularly across Gatineau, Ottawa, Montreal, and Toronto. In 2025, he performed for Canada Day celebrations in Ottawa and also joined Universal Music artist Kassidy, singing and playing guitar as the opening act for Jamie Fine, a four time Juno nominated artist with over 100 million global streams and multiple platinum-certified singles.

 

A versatile multi-instrumental musician, Mat plays guitar, ukulele, and piano. His set list spans the top 40, rock, country, and a wide mix of popular hits in both English and French.
